Eremos Youth Ministries

Eremos Youth Ministries is the student ministries of Calvary Chapel Mission Viejo. We exist to help students in grades 7-12 to know Christ, grow in Christ, and to sow Christ.

Eremos (pronounced uh-ray-moss) is the Greek word for wilderness. In scripture, many characters spend a significant portion of their life in the wilderness. On one hand, the wilderness is a place of struggle, strife, and uncertainty. On the other, the wilderness is a place of preparation, learning to walk in faith, and knowing The Lord. We felt this was a perfect description of the season of life that students are in.

Our two main events each week are Sunday morning service and Wednesday night youth group.

The Sunday service takes place at 9:00am in the youth room. We have fellowship, worship, and a short lesson. Our hope is students would go to main service with their parents during the 10:45am service afterwards.

Youth group is on Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00pm. We start with fellowship which is followed by worship. After worship is a sermon with gender-based small groups that start immediately after.
